Piano Academy

    With great pleasure we would like to invite you to the most     
spectacular place in the world, Gabala, Azerbaijan located in
                         the South Caucasus Mountain region. Out of 11 climatic zones                       
  in the world, Azerbaijan has 9 and Gabala is one of them,
where exotic forests and mountain peaks reach the height of
4500 meters high making it ideal place for a beautiful summer
festival.
                        

    This year Gabala Music Festival will be from July 22 until
August 5th 2011 with Gabala International Piano Competition  July 15-22 , 2011.
There will be many concerts, symphonic, solo, chamber music, not to mention  genres such as: Mugam (a highly
complex art form that weds classical poetry and musical
improvisation and in 2003 Unesco recognized Mugam as a
Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of
Humanity).

     Gabala  2011 will have a piano academy from July  22 until August 5th , 2011.

     Many world renown musicians will take part in the academy as: Oxana Yablonskaya, Sergio Perticaroli, Joaquin Soriano, Farhad Badalbeyli, Einar Steen-Nokleberg, Reid Smith, Keng Zhou, Manana Doidjashvili and many more.

     Each participant will get 4 private lessons, perform in master classes, get tickets to all the festival concerts, room and board in a residence or hotel and transportation within Azerbaijan.
